Light Park Services

BREAKING

Breaking is determined by your chosen discipline.

It is important for the client to express their expectations before the horse arrives at Light Park and we encourage you to visit and be part of the breaking process.

It is necessary that young horses will return well mannered, balanced, light and responsive as well as accepting of a busy environment.

EDUCATION

On the ground, horses will hard tie with no issues, be saddled and bridled with no fuss and stand quietly while being mounted.

Horses are required to take correct leads, move off legs, remain in a balanced frame (legs on head down).

These basic fundamentals lead to a more trainable horse.

ATTITUDE CHECK-UPS/MANNERS

Manners start on the ground with relevant respect shown by the horse to the handler.

Working with the owner is just as important as working with the horse, as many horses have owner problems and we can help you with that.

From here the education process can begin…….
